NSGC - Watershed Toponymic & Network Upgrading
Toponymic Objects water features were integrated with the NS Hydrographic Network dataset. Hydrographic networks were constructed and extensive QC was performed to ensure topological integrity.
Assessment of the Risk to PEI's Coastal Residences, Infrastructure & Heritage from a Changing Climate
This UPEI-led and NRCAN-sponsored project entails identifying vulnerable infrastructure along the coastline of PEI. GeoNet is tasked with mapping all vulnerable structures in flood-prone zones and modeling prospective coastlines 30, 60 and 90 years into the future.
Stratford, PEI – utilizing GIS technology to resolve citizen concerns and assist developers
GeoNet provides ongoing support to the growing Town of Stratford, PEI in support of developing an enterprise GIS. Stratford utilizes web mapping technology to deploy their growing GIS database throughout the organization. The Town records citizen issues and links it to the map, and most recently, the Planning department has taken advantage by utilizing existing technology to suit their needs for tracking development permits.
